1 Chronicles

Chapter 15

1 AND David built citadels for himself in the city of David, and also built a place for the ark of the LORD and for the instruments of the tabernacle.

2 Then David commanded the Levites to carry the ark of the LORD and the instruments of the tabernacle; for the Levites the LORD had chosen to minister and to carry the ark of the LORD, and to look after it for ever.

3 And David gathered all Israel together to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the LORD to the place which he had built for it.

4 And David assembled the descendants of Aaron and the Levites:

5 Of the sons of Kohath, Uriel the elder and his brethren, a hundred and twenty;

6 Of the sons of Merari, Ashiel the elder and his brethren, two hundred and twenty;

7 Of the sons of Gershon, Joel the elder and his brethren, a hundred and thirty;

8 Of the sons of Elizaphan, Shemaiah the elder and his brethren, two hundred;

9 Of the sons of Hebron, Eliab the elder and his brethren, eighty;

10 Of the sons of Uzziel, Amminadab the elder and his brethren, a hundred and twelve.

11 Then David called for Zadok the priest and Abiathar, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Amsah, Joel, Asaiah, Shemaiah, Uriel, and Amminadab,

12 And said to them, You are the chiefs of the fathers of the Levites; sanctify yourselves, both you and your brethren, that you may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel to the place which has been built for it before,

13 So that the LORD our God may not smite us because we did not seek him after the due order.

14 So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel.

15 And the Levites carried the ark of the LORD upon their shoulders with the poles thereon, as Moses had commanded according to the word of the LORD.

16 And David spoke to the elders of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be singers with instruments of music, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding by raising up their voices in joy.

17 So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel; and of his brethren, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of the sons of Merari their brethren, Ethan the son of Kushaiah;

18 And with them their brethren of the second order, Zechariah the son of Neaiel, Jehiel, Eliab, Benaiah, Asa, Mattitha, Elipheleu, Mikiaho, Ober-edom, and Jeiel.

19 Now these were all those who stood by the gates and sang: Heman, Asaph, and Ethan.

20 These were all who played with the instruments of brass to minister in the service: Azariah, Aziel, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maasiah, and Benaiah;

21 And those who sang songs: Mattitha, Mikiaho, Ober-edom, Uzzael, and Uzzanaiah; these played with harps every day at three o'clock and at nine o'clock.

22 And Benaiah, chief of the Levites, played every day in the booth, for they had prepared a place for him.

23 And Berechiah and Hilkanah looked after the ark, providing for it what was needed.

24 And Shebaniah, Jehoshaphat, Nathanael, Amasai, Zechariah, Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, did blow with the trumpets before the ark of the LORD; and Ober-edom and Ahiah looked after the ark.

25 So David and the elders of Israel and the commanders of thousands went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD from the house of Ober-edom to the city of David with great joy.

26 And it came to pass when the LORD helped the Levites who carried the ark in which was the covenant of the LORD that they sacrificed seven bullocks and seven rams.

27 And David was clothed with robes of fine linen, and all the Levites who bore the ark were also clothed with robes of fine linen; and David wore upon his linen garments an ephod of fine linen.

28 Thus David and all Israel brought up the ark in which was the covenant of the LORD, with songs and with sound of straight trumpets and curved trumpets and shouting.

29 And it came to pass as the ark in which was the covenant of the LORD reached the city of David, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out a window and saw David dancing and playing, and she despised him in her heart.

1 Давид построил себе дома в Городе Давидовом, и приготовил место для ковчега Божьего, и поставил для него Шатер.

2 И повелел Давид, чтобы, кроме левитов, никто не переносил ковчег Божий, потому что ГОСПОДЬ навеки избрал их носить ковчег ГОСПОДЕНЬ и отправлять службы пред Ним.

3 И Давид собрал весь Израиль в Иерусалиме, чтобы перенести ковчег ГОСПОДЕНЬ на то место, которое он для него приготовил.

4 Собрал Давид потомков Аарона и левитов.

5 Из потомков Кехата — предводителя их Уриэля и сто двадцать его родственников;

6 из потомков Мерари — предводителя их Асаю и двести двадцать его родственников;

7 из потомков Гершона — предводителя их Иоиля и сто тридцать его родственников;

8 из потомков Элицафана — предводителя их Шемаю и двести его родственников;

9 из потомков Хеврона — предводителя их Элиэля и восемьдесят его родственников;

10 из потомков Уззиэля — предводителя их Амминадава и сто двенадцать его родственников.

11 Давид призвал Цадока и Эвьятара, священников, и левитов Уриэля, Асаю, Иоиля, Шемаю, Элиэля, Амминадава

12 и сказал им: «Вы — главы родов левитских. Совершите обряд освящения над собой и собратьями вашими и перенесите ковчег ГОСПОДА, Бога Израилева, на место, которое я для него приготовил.

13 Не вы несли его в первый раз, потому и излил на нас гнев Свой ГОСПОДЬ, Бог наш, ибо мы не поступили, как должно».

14 Священники и левиты совершили обряд освящения, чтобы перенести ковчег ГОСПОДА, Бога Израилева.

15 И понесли потомки левитов ковчег Божий, как заповедал Моисей, по слову ГОСПОДА, на шестах, положив их себе на плечи.

16 Давид велел руководителям левитов назначить певчих из числа собратьев своих, чтобы они во всеуслышание, с радостью и ликованием пели и играли на музыкальных инструментах: арфах, лирах и кимвалах.

17 Левиты поставили Хемана, сына Иоиля, и из числа его собратьев — Асафа, сына Берехьи; из потомков Мерари, собратьев своих, — Этана, сына Кушаи;

18 из дальних родственников — Захарию, Яазиэля, Шемирамота, Ехиэля, Унни, Элиава, Бенаю, Маасею, Маттитью, Элифлеху, Микнею и привратников Овед-Эдома и Иэля.

19 Певцы Хеман, Асаф и Этан должны были играть на медных кимвалах;

20 Захария, Азиэль, Шемирамот, Ехиэль, Унни, Элиав, Маасея и Беная должны были играть на арфах мелодию «Аламот»;

21 Маттитья, Элифелеху, Микнея, Овед-Эдом, Иэль и Азазья играли свою партию для октета на лирах.

22 Кенанья, руководитель певчих левитов, отвечал за всё пение и игру на музыкальных инструментах, поскольку был в этом искусен.

23 Берехья и Элкана охраняли ковчег.

24 Священники Шеванья, Иосафат, Нетанэль, Амасай, Захария, Беная и Элиэзер трубили в трубы перед ковчегом Божьим. Овед-Эдом и Ехия также охраняли ковчег.

25 Давид и старейшины Израиля и тысяченачальники, исполненные ликования, пошли, чтобы перенести ковчег Завета ГОСПОДНЕГО из дома Овед-Эдома.

26 И Сам Бог помогал левитам, несущим ковчег Завета ГОСПОДНЕГО. И они принесли в жертву Господу семь быков и семь баранов.

27 Давид был облачен в одежды из тонкого льна. Так же одеты были и все левиты, несшие ковчег, певчие и Кенанья, глава музыкантов и певчих. На Давиде был еще льняной эфод.

28 Весь Израиль участвовал в перенесении ковчега Завета ГОСПОДНЕГО с криками ликования, под звуки рога, труб, кимвалов, лир и арф.

29 Когда ковчег завета ГОСПОДНЕГО вносили в Город Давидов, Михаль, дочь Саула, глядя из окна, увидела царя Давида, как он танцует и скачет. И стала презирать Давида.

1 AND David built citadels for himself in the city of David, and also built a place for the ark of the LORD and for the instruments of the tabernacle.

1 Давид построил себе дома в Городе Давидовом, и приготовил место для ковчега Божьего, и поставил для него Шатер.

2 Then David commanded the Levites to carry the ark of the LORD and the instruments of the tabernacle; for the Levites the LORD had chosen to minister and to carry the ark of the LORD, and to look after it for ever.

2 И повелел Давид, чтобы, кроме левитов, никто не переносил ковчег Божий, потому что ГОСПОДЬ навеки избрал их носить ковчег ГОСПОДЕНЬ и отправлять службы пред Ним.

3 And David gathered all Israel together to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the LORD to the place which he had built for it.

3 И Давид собрал весь Израиль в Иерусалиме, чтобы перенести ковчег ГОСПОДЕНЬ на то место, которое он для него приготовил.

4 And David assembled the descendants of Aaron and the Levites:

12 и сказал им: «Вы — главы родов левитских. Совершите обряд освящения над собой и собратьями вашими и перенесите ковчег ГОСПОДА, Бога Израилева, на место, которое я для него приготовил.

13 So that the LORD our God may not smite us because we did not seek him after the due order.

13 Не вы несли его в первый раз, потому и излил на нас гнев Свой ГОСПОДЬ, Бог наш, ибо мы не поступили, как должно».

14 So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel.

14 Священники и левиты совершили обряд освящения, чтобы перенести ковчег ГОСПОДА, Бога Израилева.

15 And the Levites carried the ark of the LORD upon their shoulders with the poles thereon, as Moses had commanded according to the word of the LORD.

15 И понесли потомки левитов ковчег Божий, как заповедал Моисей, по слову ГОСПОДА, на шестах, положив их себе на плечи.

16 And David spoke to the elders of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be singers with instruments of music, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding by raising up their voices in joy.

16 Давид велел руководителям левитов назначить певчих из числа собратьев своих, чтобы они во всеуслышание, с радостью и ликованием пели и играли на музыкальных инструментах: арфах, лирах и кимвалах.

17 So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel; and of his brethren, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of the sons of Merari their brethren, Ethan the son of Kushaiah;

17 Левиты поставили Хемана, сына Иоиля, и из числа его собратьев — Асафа, сына Берехьи; из потомков Мерари, собратьев своих, — Этана, сына Кушаи;

18 And with them their brethren of the second order, Zechariah the son of Neaiel, Jehiel, Eliab, Benaiah, Asa, Mattitha, Elipheleu, Mikiaho, Ober-edom, and Jeiel.

18 из дальних родственников — Захарию, Яазиэля, Шемирамота, Ехиэля, Унни, Элиава, Бенаю, Маасею, Маттитью, Элифлеху, Микнею и привратников Овед-Эдома и Иэля.

19 Now these were all those who stood by the gates and sang: Heman, Asaph, and Ethan.

19 Певцы Хеман, Асаф и Этан должны были играть на медных кимвалах;

20 These were all who played with the instruments of brass to minister in the service: Azariah, Aziel, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maasiah, and Benaiah;

27 Давид был облачен в одежды из тонкого льна. Так же одеты были и все левиты, несшие ковчег, певчие и Кенанья, глава музыкантов и певчих. На Давиде был еще льняной эфод.

28 Thus David and all Israel brought up the ark in which was the covenant of the LORD, with songs and with sound of straight trumpets and curved trumpets and shouting.

28 Весь Израиль участвовал в перенесении ковчега Завета ГОСПОДНЕГО с криками ликования, под звуки рога, труб, кимвалов, лир и арф.

29 And it came to pass as the ark in which was the covenant of the LORD reached the city of David, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out a window and saw David dancing and playing, and she despised him in her heart.

29 Когда ковчег завета ГОСПОДНЕГО вносили в Город Давидов, Михаль, дочь Саула, глядя из окна, увидела царя Давида, как он танцует и скачет. И стала презирать Давида.
